Wickham Park & Elicit Brewing Micro-Wedding | Sarah + Zach

Sarah and Zach celebrated their wedding ceremony at Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut. The park has multiple places to host a wedding; The Cabin at Hilltop Garden, Emerald Room of the Irish Garden, and the English Garden, among many more beautiful spots for an elopement! They opted for their ceremony at the English Garden and then a reception at Elicit Brewing Co.

The gardens were not only absolutely stunning, but was enclosed enough with shrubs and landscaping which provided privacy from the rest of the park - as well as from their guests and each other before they walked down the aisle! They included their nearest and dearest in the celebration to have more of an intimate affair. They each shared their own personal vows publicly which were so sweet and filled with antidotes from their relationship - the most common theme throughout was that they fell in love quickly, and they each knew they were the one. After their first date (on a hiking trip), Sarah told her maid of honor that she had just met husband! Sarah's brother officiated their ceremony with great care and honor. The two flower girls had a ball running around the ceremony area while they were getting married with a childhood innocence having no idea it was one of the biggest days in their auntie's life.

After their ceremony we explored the grounds finding ares to incorporate that were still beautifully in bloom in early September with their wedding party before heading up to the Hilltop Garden to soak in the view with just the two of them.

Elicit Brewing Wedding Reception

After the ceremony we ventured around Wickham park to take wedding party and couple's photos before heading over to Elicit Brewing Co. The brewery is huge and industrial - the perfect unique venue for a small-scale wedding! There are a few different event areas but Sarah and Zach had the private room upstairs. Fun fact: Zach is a brewer at Elicit!! He and Sarah are both beer enthusiasts, so it only made sense to celebrate at one of their favorite places, drinking their favorite beer. Since he worked there, we were able to actually go into the brewing area for some photos! We also explored some areas around the brewery outside and in for more couple's photos. They had their cocktail hour in the main, public area of the brewery before heading upstairs for lite bites, first dances, and speeches before cutting up the dance floor.

We ended the night together going back down stairs to take some night photos in front of Elicit Brewing when the sign was lit up. I'm so glad I took this random candid photo of them coming downstairs!! It's giving so many vibes.
