Inn on Boltwood Wedding
The Inn on Boltwood is a beautiful wedding venue in Amherst, Massachusetts. It's white washed brick is a modern backdrop amidst the garden for outdoor ceremonies. Since, it's an inn it's so wonderful to be able to have everyone get ready on site as well as not needing guests to travel after the reception!
Meet Allison and Lindsay! The chillest, most joyful and emotive couple ever. I feel SO extraordinarily lucky to have been given the opportunity to photograph their wedding day.
First Look in the garden behind Inn on Boltwood
Their first look was the most emotional I've photographed in a while!! It both broke and restored my heart. It was so, so sweet to see Lindsay's reaction to her beautiful bride. Since it was a little drizzly, they opted for the pathway through the garden in the back of Inn on Boltwood. I think the brick of the Inn and the lush trees was the perfect backdrop for their intimate private vows.
Allison gave Lindsay a book of photos from her boudoir session and let's just say... it was a hit!! A boudoir session can be super sexy gift to give your partner before your wedding. If you're interested in a session, check out my friend Katie at The Renaissance Room!

Garden Wedding Ceremony at Inn on Boltwood
When you think of summer 2023, I'm sure you think of rain. It was the rainiest summer on record for Boston. But Lindsay and Allison said screw it - it's only a drizzle, let's get married outside!!! I love that they did what felt right for them and that there were a bunch of spare umbrellas around for their guests to take cover.

I'm obsessed with their reactions to the art from their live wedding painter! It's so fun to see all the new additions to weddings like live wedding painters, caricature artists, or tarot card readers. It's nice to have more elements for your guests to enjoy!
