Misselwood Wedding at Endicott College | LeAnn & Drew

Updated: 6 days ago

LeAnn and Drew had a beautiful, classy wedding day at Misselwood at Endicott College. Every detail of the day was planned intentionally and perfectly.

LeAnn and Drew met in their senior year of college through mutual friends. LeAnn played hard to get all senior year but decided to finally give Drew a chance during the last few weeks of school. They then started dating right after graduation but did not make it official until July. After a country concert at Fenway Park that summer they knew their relationship was something special. Drew proposed in Florence, Italy during an early morning photoshoot. It was intimate and private with no one around.

A Boston North Shore Estate Venue

Misselwood is a gorgeous mansion that overlooks the ocean. As a part of Endicott College, it is a highly sought-after venue for weddings and events. When you host a wedding at Misselwood you have access to the mansion, as well as a large permanent climate-controlled tent that can seat up to 200 guests. The grounds are meticulously cared for and there is access to a private beach. When you arrive on the property you feel as if you are being transported into a fairy tale. I also have to say the staff is phenomenal at what they do!

Just down the street is the Wylie Center where your family and friends can spend the night. You can learn more about getting married at their other sister venue, Tupper Manor at Endicott College

Getting Ready Photos at Misselwood

The indoor getting-ready spaces of Misselwood are SO beautiful. LeAnn had some beautiful details that were so fun to photograph, but her main priority was to get photos with her people. The bridesmaids all wore light blue dresses that were perfect for a New England summer wedding. Drew got ready with his guys in the library space. We took portraits of each of them separately before their first look in front of the estate.

Their first look was emotional and sweet. They shared private vows before taking some portraits around the venue. I could not get over how stunning the backdrop was!

It rained off and on all morning but then shortly before the ceremony began the skies dried up. We all headed out to the lawn for their outdoor ceremony overlooking the ocean. The timing could not have been better. They thoughtfully considered everything their guests could need to be comfortable during the ceremony! They provided handheld fans, a program, peach tea, lemonade, and water. It was such a thoughtful touch!

One of their friends officiated the ceremony and it was so beautiful and well done! The blue and white flowers at the end of the aisle were the perfect touch.

The sun came out just in time for cocktail hour! Guests enjoyed drinks out on the terrace while LeAnn and Drew captured a few more portraits and recharged. We all joined for the end of cocktail hour and were greeted with lots of hugs and excitement.  I loved the neon sign of their last name. It was perfect for photo ops.

Misselwood Wedding Tented Reception

The details for the reception were just perfect! Everything was meticulously planned and looked perfect in the outdoor tent. They had all their guests sign a Red Sox Jersey with their new last name which was such a unique and sweet guest book. LeAnn teaches 2nd grade so each guest table had a framed drawing of what her students think "love is..." They love the beach and their engagement session was at Crane Estate Beach so the guest names for the tables were written on sea glass. They also hired a live painter, Sheila Foley, to create a wedding portrait of the two of them and hired To Have And To Hold Portraits for watercolor portraits for their guests as favors.

LeAnn changed into her party dress and sneakers and headed to the dance floor! Their dance floor was packed the entire night. Their Stonehill friends knew how to get down!
