Alvirne Memorial Chapel is a quaint stone chapel in Hudson, New Hampshire. It was built in the early 1900s and is a perfect spot to host an intimate wedding. The grounds surrounding the chapel are beautiful as well for some post-ceremony wedding photos. It's the perfect option for a winter wedding, like Ica and Bobby's wedding was.
Ica and Bobby got married on chilly Thursday afternoon in February. But not any day - it was leap day! Bobby proposed to Ica on leap day 4 years prior so they wanted to keep the day for their wedding as well. I asked them whether they plan to celebrate anniversaries on Feb 28 or March 1 and they said they'll do it on March 1 as that's also their dogs birthday so is already special. As you'll see later in this blog, they're super animal people so it makes sense they'd want to celebrate their marriage on their beloved dog's bday!

Their ceremony was beautiful and meaningful. The whole room could feel the energy and intent of the moment. They lit a unity candle and shared vows before being all smiles walking back down the aisle as husband and wife!! Definitely a Alvirne Memorial Chapel Wedding to remember.
After the ceremony we ventured out into the cold for some family photos and couple's photos. Even though it was winter, the grounds of Alvirne Chapel were still a beautiful backdrop for their newlywed photos.

After freezing our bums off we packed up and headed to Ica and Bobby's home. They love their animals so much and wanted to include them in their day! Most often people include dogs or cats in their wedding photos but I'm obsessed that they also wanted to include their guinea pig!! These are some of my favorite photos from their day and I'm so happy they prioritized this.
